Open to Offers! 4 Year Old Appaloosa x Connemara Mare for Sale in Monikie, Angus for sale
Very sad sale as she will be too small for me, this mare will make someone very happy. She is four and ready to back now. Standing approximately 13.3hh / 14hh but still a little bum high. I will be doing some work towards backing her in the meantime. I bought her last spring but she was undernourished and rather stunted, so I did not want to start her last year. She has grown quite a bit since arriving, and really blossomed. She has had a bridle on with no major problems, ties up, loves to be groomed. This mare has never shown any bad temper - never kicked out or tried to bite in anger. She can be a bit rope shy, which I am working on, so needs a head collar on in the field. She is a bit reluctant to hold up her back feet for trimming for long, but an understanding farrier should manage. I give her a little scoop of sugar beet every day just to keep her happy, but she is a good doer so wont require hard feed. She is fine to stable, lead out, and respects electric fencing. She is passported, injected for tetanus, and chipped, and will be sold with her turnout rugs and a head collar. No tack. Please email for more information. No timewasters or novices please. I may consider exchanging for a steady laid back older horse, or a small driving pony with harness.
